Welcome to Mint. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Mint mobile application and this website (together, the "Service"), operated by Mint ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who can use Mint

You must be at least 13 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country, to use Mint. By using the Service you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. Your account and data

You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. The financial information you enter — balances, stacks, transactions, subscriptions, and loans — belongs to you. You are responsible for its accuracy. Mint is a personal money-tracking tool; it does not connect to, move, or hold real money.

3. Not financial advice

Mint, including insights generated by Minty (our AI coach), is provided for informational and organizational purposes only. It is not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and it is not a substitute for a licensed professional. Any decision you make based on the Service is your own responsibility. Loan and interest figures are estimates for planning only and may differ from your lender's actual terms.

4. Subscriptions and payments

Mint is free to download and use with a limit of two active subscriptions tracked. Mint Premium unlocks unlimited tracking and additional features for a recurring fee. Premium is billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play and is subject to their terms. Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase, and your subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's store settings. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to access it through unauthorized means, reverse-engineering the app, disrupting its operation, or using it for any unlawful purpose.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its name, logo, design, and content, is owned by Mint and protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of it without our permission.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service running smoothly but do not guarantee it will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. We may add, change, or remove features at any time. We may update these Terms from time to time; material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above, and continued use means you accept the revised Terms.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mint is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the Service, including losses resulting from inaccurate data or decisions made using the Service.
