Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what Mint ("we", "us", "our") collects, why, and the choices you have. It applies to the Mint mobile app and this website (the "Service").

1. What we collect

• Account information — the email and password you use to create an account.
• Financial data you enter — balances, stacks, transactions, subscriptions, loans, and reminders. This is data you type in yourself; Mint does not link to your bank.
• Subscription status — whether you hold a Mint Premium subscription, provided by our payments partner (RevenueCat) via the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never receive your full card details.
• Basic technical data — device type, app version, and diagnostic information used to keep the app working.

2. How we use your data

We use your data to provide and secure the Service, sync your information across your devices, send the reminders and notifications you enable, power Minty's insights, process your subscription, and improve the app. We do not sell your personal data.

3. Minty (AI coach)

When you ask Minty a question, relevant details from your account (such as balances and budgets) may be processed to generate a response. Minty's answers are informational only and are not financial advice.

4. Sharing

We share data only with service providers who help us run Mint — for example hosting, and payment processing through the app stores and RevenueCat — and only as needed to provide the Service. We may disclose information if required by law.

5. Data retention and security

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it, though no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

6. Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your data. Deleting your account removes your financial data from our systems. To make a request, email us at support@financewithmint.com.

7. Children

Mint is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
